Download TV Programs Worth Watching.
Another night sitting in front of the TV with nothing worthwhile to watch. Wouldn't it be great if you could download TV programs that you used to enjoy watching.
Remember the great old shows we used to watch, shows like Third Rock from The Sun, or Miami Vice and even old classics like Gunsmoke. But unfortunately, these days it seems that if the program is not a crime / police show or heaven forbid a reality TV show, then it does not get mentioned.
You might have noticed that when a new program is advertised, we are warned to be prepared to be shocked or disturbed by what is coming up. For people trying to relax after a hard days work, this hardly rates as entertainment. We will not even get into the entertainment value of watching a bunch of lobs laze about a house all day.
Some of the old classic shows where admittedly violent to some degree, but the violence was not the same as the made to disturb brand of violence being shown in programs like SVU. The violence in the old shows was fairly unrealistic, and added to the entertainment. If someone wants to be shocked and disturbed by violence, all they have to do is watch some news footage on the situation in the Middle East.
Strangely enough, the way out of this dilemma for us old fashioned viewers comes in the form of new technology. We can now find and download all those old favorite TV shows and movies very cheaply over the internet. This makes it possible to build up a library of old classics which can be taken out and watched whenever there is nothing worth watching on TV.
Being able to download TV programs will go a long way in making sitting in front of the TV an enjoyable past time once more.
